To say it gets hot and humid during Texas summer months in an understatement. To help the shooters at Gunsmoke survive the “summer” months, THSS has a “relaxed dress code” for monthly matches held during the months of June through September .
To remain comfortable in the summer THSS will only require period correct western headgear, holster and cowboy legal footwear (Must be closed toe shoes. No sandals or flip flops.). But please remember, this is optional and you are more than welcome to come out in your regular attire if you prefer.
