Trailhead 2019 Day 2: Friday Night Social

Friday evening, there will be a Friday Night Social located on the grounds at Gunsmoke, Texas. The event will start at 6:00 pm. Attendees will enjoy a hearty supper, Side Match Awards thus far, and also the opportunity to partake in various door prize drawings. The Friday Night Social is free for all registered Trailhead Shooters. Competitors may elect to purchase $10 Guest tickets when submitting their Trailhead application.

Trailhead 2019 Awards Banquet

Ellinger Community Center 104 W Colorado Sky St, Ellinger, TX, United States

Ellinger Community Center The Trailhead closing ceremony and banquet will be at the Ellinger Community Center in nearby Ellinger (104 W Colorado Sky Street). The awards banquet will feature a presentation for match category awards, door prizes, and a costume contest. All registered shooters must attend the banquet in full and appropriate cowboy attire.  Any shooter not following these costuming rules will be ineligible for any match awards or door prizes.

Trailhead 2019 Day 4: Side Matches

The final day of Trailhead features three different side matches.  The fun starts at 9:00 am. Master Gunfighter  This “mano y mano” match pits two shooters against each other to see who can shoot five drop down targets in the fastest time.  Shooters pair up and compete, winner moves on. Couples Shoot This is a fun husband-and-wife match where couples work together on a stage that uses several buildings at Gunsmoke.  Teamwork is key, as sometimes they might have to do humorous things such as hold hands when moving between buildings. Team Shoot Competitors are randomly drawn into groups of four and compete against the other groups.

TSRA CAS State Championship

Gunsmoke will be host to the TSRA/CAS/WB Texas State Championship match! Match will be held May 17-19, 2019. Free RV camping is available, but no hookups. You must be a TSRA member to shoot this match. If you live in Texas, why wouldn’t you be a member of TSRA, who fights everyday to protect our 2nd Amendment Rights.    Tsra.com Join today.
