For our upcoming April monthly matches, THSS is going to have a B-Western theme for attire. So dust off those smiley pocket embroidered shirts and flashy western attire if you have it and join the fun. You still can shoot whatever normal category you like, just your clothing is different, similar to when we have our Hawaiian Theme in August.
For those unfamiliar with the B-Western category, here’s some ideas on things to wear:
- “B-Western” style shirts with snap buttons or any of the following: “Smiley Pockets,” embroidery, appliqués, fringe, or different colored yokes
- Shield shirts with a shield/bib that has piping or embroidery
- Jean Pants, ranch pants, or pants with flap over the rear pocket, keystone belt loops, and/or piping or fringe
- Ladies may wear dresses, skirts, or split riding skirts
- Boots that are embellished with fancy stitching, multi-color fancy design, Conchos, or spots
- Western spurs with rowels and spur straps
- Gloves or gauntlets, scarves with slides or tied around the neck or bolo tie, coat, vest, chaps/chinks, or cuffs.
