It’s time to get those long guns and pistols ready for some cowboy action shooting with the Texas Historical Shootist Society (THSS). Our monthly weekend matches will be this Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20. You compete either day or both days.
Shooters’ Meeting each day is at 8:30 am. Price is $20 for THSS members, $25 for non-members, and free for spectators.

Summer Dress Code In Effect
To remain comfortable in the summer months (June-September), THSS will only require period correct western headgear, holster and cowboy legal footwear (Must be closed toe shoes. No sandals or flip flops.). So you can wear your regular duds if you want to or wear something else to be more comfortable in the heat and humidity.
