TSRA Annual Match
The CAS discipline of TSRA, after a pandemic break, will resume their annual match this year.
The Texican Rangers have offered to host the TSRA annual match at the Stieler Ranch in Fredericksburg Texas July 29th to Sunday the 31st.
They will honor all SASS categories as well as award overall for Men and Women both 59 and under and 60 and over. That’s 4 fancy buckles.
In addition there will be Wild Bunch Match and Side Matches on Friday.
The Main , Wild Bunch , and Side matches will all receive awards 1st, 2nd, 3rd. (Gold, Silver, Bronze TSRA Ranger Badges)
Theme is “It’s HOT, Here’s a T-Shirt”. Every registered shooter will receive a TSRA T-shirt. T-Shirts and Short sleeves are welcome for his match.
Fees are $90 (1st shooter), $80 (spouse), $50(Junior), Free (Buckaroo/Buckarette). That covers Main, WIld, and SIde matches.
You may register by snail mail or email. If you register by email you will separately receive instructions on how to pay via Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.
After you register you will receive updates with; who’s coming, category, and posse assignments each week as well as all sorts of additional info.

Gunfight at Gamble Gulch
Cowboys and Cowgirls, The Texas Riviera Pistoleros out of George West TX would like to announce the second annual “Gunfight at Gamble Gulch”, scheduled for Friday December 9th to Sunday December 11, 2022!

Last Stand at Thunder River
The Thunder River Renegades annual match – Last Stand at Thunder River – is their annual Christmas Shoot on December 8-10, 2022. It will be a 3-day match, with side matches on Thursday and a 10-stage main match on Friday and Saturday. Saturday night is a catered dinner with awards and raffle.
Side matches will have some of the normal fastest this-n-that, but will be focused having side matches that are fun for everyone – and things that people other than fastest shooters can win. Some of the things you may see are
- oreo cookie shoot
- drive nails with a rimfire rifle or pistol
- split a bullet on an axe and break 2 clay pigeons
- poker hand shoot
- and others we haven’t drunk enough to think of yet!
They’ll also have a Wild Bunch side match and a long range (200 yard) rimfire and pistol caliber rifle side match. Lever or single shot.
There will be a great raffle planned with multiple nice firearms to give away, Dillon loading equipment and several other nice items TBA.
