Get those long guns and pistols ready for some cowboy action shooting with the Texas Historical Shootist Society (THSS). Our monthly weekend matches will be this Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. You compete either day or both days. Full match results are posted eventually to our website.
Shooters’ Meeting each day is at 8:30 am. Note the new prices! Price is $20 for THSS members, $25 for non-members, and free for spectators. An optional $10 catered lunch is also available on Saturday.
Each day’s stages will be different, and there’s a $5 discount for your Sunday match if you compete both days.

Please ensure you maintain social distancing as much as possible at the match. Masks are encouraged but not required.
Summer Dress Code
To remain comfortable in the summer THSS will only require period correct western headgear, holster and cowboy legal footwear (Must be closed toe shoes. No sandals or flip flops.). But please remember, this is optional and you are more than welcome to come out in your regular attire if you want to.
So you can wear your regular duds if you want to or, at YOUR OPTION, wear something else to be more comfortable in the heat and humidity.
