It was a perfect day for cowboy action shooting. The air was crisp and cold at the beginning of the day, and gradually warmed to a very pleasant temperature. The chicken and dynamite props were out, and it made for some fun and interesting stages.
We also had the annual turkey shoot match. Winners included Charles Goodnight, Humdinger Ringer, Rowdy Yates, Davy, Osage Mike, Badlands Walt, Tell Sackett, and Rittmeister.
With all the swinging targets, bucking broncos, shooting gallery, and drop plates, there were no clean match shooters, but it sure was fun!
Tell Sackett was the top overall shooter this month. The match was held November 20, 2016.
